Remembering the summer

Here's a pic from this past summer, of Free Agent Racing's DH riders. On the right is Grant, and on the left is Jesse. This pic was taken at the Angel Fire Mountain States Cup race.

Later in the summer, Angel Fire hosted the only UCI World Cup race in the United States. Adam (another F.A.R. rider, left in pic) and I went down to watch, but also to race in the Amateur Cup race held before the pro races. It was pretty cool to be at a World Cup event and see all the Euro pros that I usually only read about. It was kind of bitter sweet, though, because I would have rather have been racing against them than watching. Here's to 2006 and hoping that I can get my pro upgrade.

Colavita Olive Oil-Cooking Light Race Team

Well, its official. I am one of the newest members of the Colavita squad. I met the rest of the team last Thursday, and to say the very least, I am very excited to be racing with these guys. There is a great team dynamic, and we also have some of the top riders in the region. We are already looking ahead towards Valley of the Sun in Feb, Tour of the Gila in May, and SuperWeek in the middle of summer, in addition to our full regional schedule.
This is a regional race team (farm team, if you may) of the Colavita Olive Oil/Sutter Home Wine Pro Team. While we have relationships with some of the sponsors of the pro team, we are also bringing on some of our own unique sponsors.
