New Zealand Pictures

So, seeing how it has been almost 2 months since I've got back, I figured that it's about time to post some pictures. I think some people were starting to question if I really went...

The Interislander Ferry--going from Wellington on the North Island, to the South Island.

Lake Wanaka--if you've seen Mission Impossible: III, you may remember a reference to this lake.

Day one of the Routeburn Track. New Zealand has some very lush forests and crystal-clear water.

Staring out into the fog at what should have been a nice view on the Routeburn Track, day 3.

The McKeller Hut on the Greenstone Track. The one and only time we had a hut to ourselves. I learned how to build a coal fire that night.

Back in Queenstown for some R&R. Standing in as bartenders at the Minus 5 Degrees ice bar. Most everything in the picture is made of ice, including the drink "glasses".

Loo with a view--MacKinnon Pass, day 3 Milford Track. There was a window in the door so you could enjoy the view while doing your "business".

Sutherland Falls (day 3, Milford)--the sixth tallest waterfall in the world (and something my dad has wanted to see since he was 15).

What I look like after not showering for four days (and look at those pec's... must be the heavy pack). Also noteworthy, Sandflies suck! I had bites on me for at least a week.

I liked this sign from our stopover in LA. "I'd like an extra helping of Sh t, please!"
